ANDREW LEIBENGUTH/SPECIAL TO THE TIMES NEWS The Tamaqua Lady Raiders Basketball team, on the back of a Hope's flatbed, was treated to a victory parade in Tamaqua immediately following their District XI Class 3A victory over Allentown Central Catholic, 46-42, on Saturday. Even with short notice, Tamaqua Lady Raider basketball fans still lined the streets with signs while cheering support as the Lady Raiders basketball team was escorted through town via Tamaqua Police, all the Tamaqua fire companies, Rescue Squad, and Tamaqua Ambulance. Family members and fans also placed "victory balloons" around town and at the High School. Proud Raider fans pictured from left are Debbie Delp, Lynn Myers and Gary Myers.
