Sunday night and this morning's sleet-covered roads caused a number of accidents and fender benders throughout the area. Around midnight last Coaldale police, firefighters and fire police were called to West Water Street (SR209), in after the driver of a black Mitsubishi GT lost control while driving west and hit a utility pole. No serious injuries were reported.
