March 5, 2005 Panther Valley freshman Allysa Vavra wins two gold medals at the District 11 Class AA swimming championships. Coupled with the two she gained the previous day, Vavra earns the Outstanding Swimmer Award. Vavra breaks a district and pool mark in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:03.41. She also teams with Amanda Terray, Sasha Kranch and Dorothy Terray to claim gold in a record time in the 400 free relay. PV receives another gold from sophomore Amanda Terray, who sets a district mark in winning the 100 backstroke.
