Dauphin man jailed for gun incident

A Dauphin County man was jailed in Schuylkill County on a charge of terroristic threats and related counts following an incident that occurred early on Sunday, Feb. 27.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said Michael Lesher, 24, of Gratz, went to the residence at 1332 Ridge Rd., in Upper Mahantongo Township, about 1 a.m. looking for personal belongings.While inside the residence Lesher was unable to find what he was looking for and then pulled a 9mm handgun from his waistband of his pants.He then told individuals in the home at the time that he was not playing games. He eventually left the home about 2 a.m. without incident.He was picked up several hours later on a warrant charging him with the threats count along with recklessly endangering and simple assault.He was arraigned before duty District Judge Anthony Kilker, of Shenandoah, who set bail at $75,000 straight cash. Lesher was unable to post the bail and was committed to the county prison in Pottsville.The listed victims of the threats were Kristen Kramer, 22, and two juvenile males ages 2 and 2 months, all of Hegins, Corey Maikranz, 21, of Klingerstown, all Schuylkill County, and Lilliam Lucas, 20, of Lykens, Dauphin County.
