State police at Fern Ridge reported investigating a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of SR715 and Miller Road, in Jackson Township, Monroe County, that occurred about 9 p.m. on Feb. 18.

Troopers said Elaine Lovito, 78, of Cresco, was operating a 2004 Volvo XC90 eastbound on 715 while Elisha J. Elliott-Leavy, 31, of Saylorsburg, was stopped in the westbound lane of Miller Road in a 2009 Nissan Rogue.Troopers said Lovito's vehicle left 25 feet of tire marks in the gravel from 715 into the westbound lane of Miller where it struck the left side of Leavy's car with the front of the Volvo.Leavy was injured and taken to the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township, by ambulance while Lovito sustained a minor injury. A passenger with Leavy, Daniel P. Leavy, 38, same address, was not injured.
