The Homecoming Service was held this morning in St. John's United Church of Christ, Tamaqua, with 485 people in attendance. This service was the third in a month-long series of dedication services for the new church. The homecoming banquet held after the morning service had 425 people attending. Paul H. Miller served as the master of ceremonies. Miss Annie Stein was honored as the member with the longest continuous membership, having been confirmed in 1896.
