Four area residents were among 42 who were qualified by District Attorney James P. Goodman to be admitted into Accelerated Rehabiliative Disposition (ARD) probation program.

The program is for first offenders who were charged with non violent criminal acts. They were admitted by Senior Judge D. Michael Stine at a hearing held in Schuylkill County court recently.If they successfully complete all conditions of their program their record will be wiped clean. A person does not admit guilt in entering the program.All were placed for a year, unless otherwise noted.Eric Paul Burdick, 30, of 541 E.
