The Wilkes-Barre enforcement office of the state liquor control board has cited a Carbon County business for two violations of the state liquor code.

Logan's 209 Pub Inc., located at 635 E. Patterson St., Lansford, was cited for use, permitted to be used on the inside of the licensed premises, a loudspeaker or similar device whereby the sound of music or other entertainment, or the advertisement thereof, could be heard outside. The business was also cited for violation of the Clean Indoor Air Act, in that it failed to post signage as required by the act.These charges will be brought before an administrative law judge who has the authority to impose penalties ranging from $50 to $1,000 for minor offenses and up to $5,000 for more serious offenses. In addition, the judge can also impose a license suspension or revocation of the license based on the severity of the charge brought.
