Lauren Moyer, daughter of Joe and Melanie Moyer of Hometown has been named to the dean's list for the fall semester at Villanova University. She earned a grade-point average of 3.89.

A 2008 graduate of Marian Catholic High School, where she was co-salutaroian. she is majoring in marketing with a minor in accounting and business law. She is a member of the Alpha Delta Pi Sorority. She is a Curvey scholar.Lauren is the granddaughter of Mary Moyer of Tamaqua and Adele Lech of Coaldale.
