Specialist William J. McMichael of Nesquehoning was wounded today as a result in Vietnam. This is the second time the soldier was injured, the first time being Aug. 18, 1968 in Vietnam. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles W. McMichael, West Railroad Street, were notified he was given partial surgical amputation of the right foot below the ankle due to fragment wounds. He is a 1967 graduate of Panther Valley High School, where he was a member of the football and track teams. He and his wife, the former Mary Mitzen, are the parents of an infant daughter, Jennifer.
