Divorces granted

Brian Johnson was granted a divorce from Melissa M. Johnson, both of 26 Maple Lane, New Ringgold. They were married Aug. 7, 1998.Dana Hann, Kutztown, was granted a divorce from Edward E. Hann Sr., Reading. They were married June 27, 1989.Pleas guiltyArtemiio Santis-Cruz, 25, Shenandoah, entered a guilty plea to a a number of assault charges on a female victim 14 years of age and was sentenced by Judge John E. Domalakes to serve 164 days to 18 months. Since he has already spent 164 days in the county prison was released on parole and ordered to pay $50 to the Criminal Justice Enhancement Account and court costs.On two charges of indecent assault and one charge of resisting arrest he received a concurrent sentence of 18 months on probation for each charge and on a charge of public drunkenness was fined $25. He was cited by Trooper Thomas Powell.Ruth Ann Golden, 45, Pottsville, pleaded guilty to driving while her operating privileges were suspended-DUI related and she was fined $500 plus $96 costs and must serve a period of 60 days of home confinement with electronic monitoring and pay a $12 daily fee. Yourey.Increase assessmentMineresville Area School District won its appeal in court to have the assessment of properties owned bvy RNHC Investment, LLC, of Branchdale, located along SR209 in Tremont increased for tax purposes.Judge Domalakes ruled the school district produced credible evidence that the fair market value of the property was in excess of that determined by the Schuykill County Board of Assessment Appeal which had ruled no change. The property whose previous market value listed in the assessment bureau at $63,240 was increased to $95,000 by the court's ruling and assessment set at $39,520 for tax purposes.
