Continuing the list of activities for the Panther Valley Senior Center located in Nesquehoning are as follows: Monday, Feb. 14 the Valentine's Day party will be held at 11 a.m.; Feb. 15 is line dancing in the morning and black jack; Feb. 16 there will be a speaker form the Diakon Volunteer Services at 11 a.m.; Feb. 17 is Wii dancing at 11 a.m.; Feb. 18 shopping on CCCT at 9:30 a.m. and bean bags.On Feb. 21 the center will be closed for Presidents Day; Feb. 22 is line dancing and darts; Feb. 23 celebration of birthdays and playing bingo at 11 a.m.; Feb. 24 Deal or No Deal at 11 a.m.; Feb. 25 horse racing at 11 a.m.On Feb. 28 there will be a van trip to the casino at 9:30 a.m.Remember to sign in or call the center at (570) 669-9930 by 10 a.m. for the next day's lunch.LansfordBorough meetingsLansford Borough Council has announced its calendar of meetings for the month of February as follows:Tonight - council meeting at 6:30.Tuesday, Feb. 15 - special council meeting at 6:30 p.m. for the purpose of awarding the borough hall oil burner replacement and installation bid.
