A traffic stop has led to drug charges against the driver.

Pocono Mountain Regional police said Sean R. O'Brien, 21, of Blakeslee, was stopped about 1:37 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 22, along SR940 near Locust Ridge Spur, in Pocono Lake, Tobyhanna Township, for an obscure and unreadable registration plate.While speaking with O'Brien officers detected the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle.A consent search was made of the vehicle and found was marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Police took O'Brien into custody and charged him with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
