Two Lansford boys, Elmer E. Holmes and Floyd J. Price, privates in the 158th Aero Squadron, were aboard the transport Tuscania when sunk by an enemy submarine off the Irish coast. The boys enlisted on Nov. 21st and received their preliminary training at Columbus, Ohio. It is not yet known whether they are among the survivors or not, but their relatives and friends are hoping for the best.
