Laura Walser of Tamaqua, was named to Susquehanna University's Dean's list for the fall 2010 semester.

The dean's list recognizes students who achieve a grade point average of 3.4 or higher out of a possible 4.0 for the semester. To qualify, students must complete a minimum of 12 semester hours.Walser, a freshman majoring in spanish and secondary education, is a 2010 graduate of Tamaqua Area High School and the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Walser.Founded in 1858, Susquehanna University is a residential, national liberal arts college that prepares undergraduate students for achievement, leadership and service in a diverse, interconnected world.
