State police at Fern Ridge reported on two crashes investigated by troopers in recent days.

A one-vehicle crash occurred about 4:25 a.m. on Jan. 28 along SR209 at the intersection with Silver Valley Road, in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County. Troopers said Sherneth A. Rowe, 37, of Saylorsburg, was driving a 2005 Pontiac Vibe, when she pulled out from Silver Valley Road onto 209 and into the path of a southbound 2010 Mitsubishi Lancer driven by Todd A. Huff, 23, of Saylorsburg, and a collision occurred.No one was injured in the crash. Troopers cited Rowe.A one-vehicle crash was reported about 8:50 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 2, along SR940 in front of Matikko's Hardware in Tobyhanna Township, Monroe County. Troopers said Nolly Nash, 37, of Wilkes-Barre, was operating a 1996 Mitsubishi eastbound when he lost control. The vehicle went onto the berm and struck a pole.Nash was not injured but the vehicle had to be towed from the scene.
