A Tamaqua man has been remanded to the Lehigh County Prison after being picked up by Tamaqua police following a fight on Sunday morning, Jan. 30.

Officers were dispatched to the area of the Pine Street Pub at 1:20 a.m. for a reported fight in progress. At the scene they spoke with a Scott Ferryman, who had a visible head injury. Ferryman told officers he had been verbally disagreeing with Christopher Serina, 30, of 205 W. Rowe St., when Serina threw him to the ground. Serina was in a visibly intoxicated state and witnesses confirmed Ferryman's version of events.Police charged Serina with public drunkenness and disorderly conduct. A records check indicated Serina was on probation in Lehigh County. Officials from the Lehigh County Adult Probation Office indicated Serina's probation was revoked. They traveled to Tamaqua a few hours later to take custody of Serina.
