A Monroe County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) following an incident that occurred about 2:22 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 25.

Pocono Mountain Regional police said officers stopped Bradford R. Borstelmann, 23, of Mt. Pocono, along SR611 at Crestwood Drive for several equipment violations.Borstelmann was found to be under the influence and failed field sobriety tests. He was then placed under arrest and taken to the Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg, for a blood test.The DUI charge is pending the test results.
