The Borough of Bowmanstown, which claims it cannot support a police force of its own, is requesting the Carbon County Board of Commissioners to conduct a feasibility study on the merits of a countywide police program such as has been developed in other parts of the state and nation. Joan Fritzinger, borough secretary, wrote a letter to the commissioners indicating interest in such a move and feeling it could afford to help sponsor such a project.
