Rep. Jerry Knowles (R-Berks/Schuylkill) wants residents to know state and federal income tax forms will be available in his district office at 237 W. Broad Street in Tamaqua.

"Several constituents have called my office looking for income tax forms," said Knowles. "Since no other local facility is supplying the forms this year, I contacted the Internal Revenue Service to acquire forms for my constituents. The Internal Revenue Service is late in sending out the forms this year because of last month's tax law changes. The forms should be arriving shortly."Knowles stressed that while his office will provide the federal and state tax forms, his office cannot complete the forms for residents. He urged residents to contact a tax professional for help completing their forms.
