Attains dean's list at Duquesne Univ.

Gregory Steigerwalt, a senior in the A.J. Palumbo School of Business Administration, has been named to the fall 2010 dean's list at Duquesne University. The dean's list recognizes full-time students who have maintained a 3.5 grade point average on a 4.0 scale. He attained a GPA of 3.94 for the semester.

Steigerwalt, who is working toward dual majors in finance and investment marketing, will graduate in May 2011. He will be inducted into the Golden Key International Honour Society on Feb. 13. The Golden Key is a global honor society established to recognize students for their academic excellence, leadership, and service.He has been a member of both the Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society and the National Scholars Honor Society since 2008. He is a member of Duquesne's Finance and Investment Association and a certified user of Bloomberg Financial Analysis software. He completed an internship program with First Investors Corporation of Pittsburgh during the summer of 2010.Steigerwalt is a 2007 graduate of Lehighton Area High School. He is the son of Brian and Ann Marie Steigerwalt of Andreas, and the grandson of Amandus and Pauline Steigerwalt and Ann Oblas, all of Andreas, and the late Stephen Oblas.
