Arrests reported

State police at Lehighton reported on the following arrests made by troopers.

Troopers said Marlette Palermo, 63, of Kunkletown, was stopped for a stop sign violation along Fairgrounds Road near Gilbert Road, in Polk Township, Monroe County, about 10:40 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 15. At the stop Palermo became argumentative and refused to provide documents, trooper said, adding that she also struck a trooper twice with her driver's door. She was cited for disorderly conduct for her actions plus motor vehicle code violations, troopers added.Troopers said charges of harassment will be filed against Melissa C. Barbuto, 24, and Tristen J. Biggs, 25, both of Trexlertown, for posting harassing messages on the facebook of Jessica M. Fodor, 22, of Lehighton, Towamensing Township, Carbon County. The incidents occurred on Friday, Jan. 14, about 8:30 p.m.Matthew Tribuzio, 22, of Kunkletown, was cited for harassment for striking a 21-year-old female from Bronx, N.Y., on the back of the head after an argument regarding facebook accounts. The incident occurred about 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 15, along Panorama Circle, in Towamensing Township.Troopers said Kenneth Lafata, 37, of Northampton, was cited for receiving stolen property when he was found to have in his possession a snowboard that was reported stolen at the Blue Mountain Ski Resort in Lower Towamensing Township, Carbon County, on Jan. 14 at 2 p.m. The victim is a 13-year-old male from Bath, troopers added.Donato Anthony Farole, 20, of 231 Carnation Lane, Lehighton, was cited for receiving stolen property after he was found to have in his possession a stolen Burton TWC snowboard with Burton Freestyle bindings that was reported stolen at the ski resort. Farole was found with the snowboard at the MRTI Center along Bank St., in Bowmanstown. The incident was reported on Jan. 13 at 1 p.m. The victim is a 16-year-old male from Allentown, troopers said.
