Boy Scout Troop 109 in Saylorsburg invites boys ages of 10-18 to speak with troop leadership and spend some time with the troop. The Scoutmaster, Robert Facella, was awarded the 2010 Leader of the Year Award, presented by the Pocono District at a Roundtable meeting.He was nominated by his former troop for his leadership excellence, dedication to the Boy Scouts of America principles, the Boy Scout Oath, and Scout Law.The troop has numerous adult merit badge counselors and is offering exciting mystery trips, campouts, projects, working with organizations like Operation Touch of Home, which supports local troops deployed overseas.Members are a community active troop and try to help wherever they can.The troop's Charter Organization is St. Peter's
