Jesse Reis, son of Pat and John Reis of Towamensing Township, has been named to the dean's list for the fall semester at Penn State University Park, receiving a 3.6.

Jesse was the salutatorian of the class of 2010 at Palmerton High School. He is in his freshmen year at Penn State, majoring in marketing and is a member of the Penn State Marketing Association and The Blue and White Society of Penn State University.Jesse is the grandson of Patricia and Richard Whiting of Philadelphia, and Maria and Joao Reis of Rotonda West, Florida.
