The Palmerton Area Democratic Club will meet Tuesday, Jan. 11, 7 p.m., at the Fireline Hotel, Bowmanstown.

"The featured topic in our series Issues Facing Palmerton will be 'An Update on Developing the West Plant Site'," said Club President, Sarina Berlow.Participants will include Palmerton Mayor, Brad Doll, and Democratic members of Borough Council.The area covered by the Club includes Palmerton, Bowmanstown, Towamensing Township and Lower Towamensing Township. Meetings are monthly, the second Tuesday of the month, September to May, 7 p.m. at the Fireline Hotel, Bowmanstown. Annual dues are $1/yr. due Jan. 1.
