A Tamaqua man pushed his luck Friday morning, ending up lodged in the Schuylkill County Prison, Pottsville, after failing to listen to the advice of police.

Kerry Scott Fulmer, 40, of 513 Lombard St., Tamaqua, went to the home of Monique Nunemacher, 242 Columbia St., Tamaqua, in the early morning hours. At 12:40 a.m., Nunemacher called the Schuylkill County Communications Center to ask for police to come and remove Fulmer from her home.She claimed he was smoking marijuana and she did not want any illegal drugs in her home. She reportedly asked Fulmer to leave voluntarily, but he refused.When officers arrived, Fulmer was sitting in the kitchen. A partially smoked cigarette was in an ashtray in front of him. Nunemcaher broke the cigarette in half, exposing green vegetable matter.Fulmer was transported to the station and cited for possesion of drug matter, possession of marijuana and defiant trespass. He was released at 2 a.m. with a warning to avoid Nunemacher's home.At 2:44 a.m., officers were again dispatched to Nunemacher's after she called to say Fulmer was in her living room. Fulmer fled while the officers were responding, but was found hiding in the 500 block of Willing Street. Visibly intoxicated and with an open car of beer in hand, Fulmer was again taken into custody.This time, he was arraigned before duty District Magistrate Stephen Bayer on charges of criminal trespass, defiant trespass and public intoxication.The judge set bail at $10,000 straight cash bond, earning Fulmer a stay in the county jail
