Liquor board cites three businesses

The Allentown Enforcement Office of the state liquor control board has cited three Schuylkill County businesses for violations of the state liquor code.

The three cited were:Mugshots, 3 N. Kennedy Drive, McAdoo, for allowing employees to consume alcohol while tending bar. The violations occurred on March 21 and April 28.Hambone's, 102-104 S. Second St., Saint Clair, for having gambling devices or paraphernalia or allowing gambling, lotteries, pool selling or bookmaking on the premises. The violations occurred on Dec. 29, 2010, and March 25.Main Street Bar and Grill Inc., 316-318 S. Main St., Shenandoah, for allowing use of a loudspeaker or similar device that caused music or other entertainment to be heard outside of the business. The violations occurred on various dates.The charges will be brought before an administrative law judge who has the authority to impose fines ranging from $50 to $1,000 for minor offenses and up to $5,000 for more serious violations.The judge also can impose a suspension or revocation of license.
