The following actions were filed as mortgage foreclosures for alleged defaults on loans.

Deutsche Bank National Trust Co., 1661 Worthington Rd., West Palm Beach, Fla., filed against Bill J. and Candace L. Seamon, 8 W. Front St., Jim Thorpe, over property at that address. Sought is $85,125.99 and continuing interest.

Midfirst Bank, 999 N.W. Grand Blvd., Oklahoma City, Okla., filed against James A. and Kathleen S. Osborn, 24 Penn Spring Drive, Jim Thorpe, over property at that address. Sought is $200,720.02 and continuing interest.

Bank of America, 7105 Corporate Drive, Plano, Tex., filed against Anne Marie Oswald, 3349 Jameson Drive, Pittsburgh, over property at 368 W. Abbott St., and 366 W. Abbott St., Lansford. Sought is $30,738.13 and continuing interest.

Divorces started

Aaron Steinmetz, 111 S. Chestnut St., Summit Hill, filed against Yamila Yafar, 14 E. Third St., Bloomsburg. They were married June 6, 2010.

Molly T. Damian, 23 W. Rhume St., Nesquehoning, filed against Francis J. Damian, 60 W. High St., Nesquehoning. They were married Dec. 23, 1995.

Jean M. Valusek 224 E. Center St., Nesquehoning, filed against John P. Valusek, 153 Fourth St., Apt. A, Coaldale. They were married Feb. 22, 1964.

Credit defaults

The following actions were filed by credit card companies, or their collection agencies, for alleged defaults on credit card/loan accounts.

LVNV Funding, Scranton, filed four actions as follows: Lisa Henritzy, 485 Hahns Dairy Rd., Palmerton, seeking $1,252.84; Andrew Kidda, 15 E. Ridge St., Lansford, seeking $2,483.72; Michael W. Phillips, 661 Lime St., Palmerton, seeking $11,742.57; and Orville Benjamin, 23 Pohopoco Drive, Kunkletown, seeking $2,009.18.

Citibank, Sioux Falls, S.D., filed against Lawrence E. Wing Jr., 14 E. Third St., Jim Thorpe, seeking $4,239.28.

FIA Card Services, Newark, Del., filed against Darlene L. Kunkel, 2119 Mahoning Drive East, Lehighton, seeking $9,366.04.

Capital One Bank, Scranton, filed two actions as follows: Denise P. Kibler, 463 Valley View Drive, Lehighton, seeking $1,871.48; and Sherry L. Knauft, 31 Wolf Drive, Jim Thorpe, seeking $5,246.17.

Discover Bank, New Castle, Del., filed against Robert A. Behler, 783 Edgemont Ave., Palmerton, seeking $1,152.60.

Target National Bank, Carnegie, filed against Robin Hoffman, 292 Buck Mountain Rd., Weatherly, seeking $5,530.15.

American Express, New York, N.Y., filed against Todd Moore, 117 Gower Rd., Albrightsville, seeking $3,608.25.

Breach of Contract

William Picht Jr., 136 Sycamore Lane, New Ringgold, filed a civil action against Rick and Kristin Hanes, 222 N. Walnut St., Summit Hill.

The suit states during the period of November and December 2009, the defendants operated or traded as R.H. Mechanical, a fictitious name registration. The plaintiff assisted the defendants during the period stated with startup of the business and was employed by the defendants during the period. It is also alleged that the plaintiff loaned the defendants various amount of money and purchased a welder for them. The suit charges the defendants were to repay the plaintiff on or about January 2010.

The suit charges the plaintiff was not repaid and he discontinued providing labor services. Breach of Contract is alleged and sought are damages of $11,953 plus punitive damages, fee and costs.
