A Lehighton man was injured Friday night in a one-car accident along Route 209 in Franklin Township. Officer Frank Lorah identified the driver of the Lexis SUV as Zachory Kasko, 24, of Lehighton. He was traveling north at about 6:30 p.m. when his car struck a utility pole, snapping it at the base, and then rolled over. Kasko was treated at the scene by Lehighton Ambulance and then was transported to Lehigh Valley Hospital by MEDEVAC. Assisting at the scene were Franklin Township firefighters and fire police.
