A criminal mischief incident that happened at noon Nov. 23 in Eldred Township is being investigated by state police at the Lehighton barracks.

The victim is John Robert Higbee, 67, of 112 Garden Grove Lane, Kunkletown.Police said someone arrived at his residence and damaged a glass spotlight by shooting at it and then proceeded to damage a plastic security box that was hanging on a tree at the property. The estimated damages are $150.
