An underage driver was cited following a one-vehicle crash that occurred on Schuylkill County.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said a 15-year-old male from Schuylkill Haven, was driving a 2006 Chevrolet Tracker westbound on Moyer's Station Road, in Wayne Township, about 4:09 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 14, when he failed to negotiate a left curve while traveling at a high rate of speed.The vehicle went onto the berm and struck a shrub with its right front end.The vehicle continued forward and struck a tree with the left front tire causing it to roll over onto its roof, where it came to rest.The teen driver was not injured. Troopers said he was cited for driving a vehicle at an (un) safe speed.Troopers did not indicate if he faced any other charges concerning his age.
