The Mahoning Township Supervisors discussed the following items last week:

• Conditional preliminary plans were approved for the Sierra Vista Estates subdivision, as recommended by the township planning commission.

• Rejected the sole bid for paving of Spring Hill Road. The bid received from Lehigh Asphalt was $10,000 higher than township estimates. The matter was then tabled until a future meeting.

• Discussed a long-term lease option for the cellular tower behind the municipal building. The owner of the tower, American Tower, proposed a 99-year lease option for approximately $300,000 paid to the township. The matter was tabled with no action taken.
