Republican Bruce R. Steigerwalt won his party's nomination to a 6-year seat on the Mahoning Township board of supervisors.

Steigerwalt won 225 votes. His opponent, George Stawnyczyj, received 77 votes. There was one Republican and 36 Democratic write-in votes, according to unofficial tallies.

Republican: Wallace Putkowski ran unopposed for a 6-year term as auditor, with 239 votes. There were no write-ins. There were four Republican write-in votes each for the 4-year and 2-year auditor's seats.

There were five Democratic write-in votes for the 6-year auditor's term; two for the 4-year term and one for the 2-year term.

the names of the write-in candidates have yet to be announced.
