Chief Joseph Fittos Jr. of the Summit Hill Police Department has announced winter parking regulations in the borough that went into effect on Dec. 1.

Under borough ordinance, all vehicles parked on East White Street, between Spruce and Pine streets, and all vehicles parked on West White Street, between Poplar and Coal streets, must be parked facing west. These rules will be enforced through March 31.In addition, borough law requies between Dec. 15 and March 15, all boats, trailers and campers must be off borough streets. Violators will be fined and the units will be towed off the streets at the owners' expense.
