The Tamaqua Salvation Army will sponsor a 13 week series of classes from Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University. The sessions are designed to help participants free themselves from debt and become more responsible financially. A free preview session will be held this Thursday, at 6 p.m., at the Salvation Army, 105 W. Broad St.

Classes will begin May 13 and then be held Thursdays, at 6 p.m., through Aug. 12. Topics range from ways to save, eliminating debt, real estate and mortgages, mutual funds and more.No pre-registration is required for the free preview.
