Rally Around Faith Alive planned

Published August 19. 2011 05:02PM

Rally Around Faith Alive, a program for everyone to learn what Faith Alive United Methodist Church offers in the area of education, mission, service and activities for all age groups, will be held on Sunday, Sept. 11.

There will be tables set up throughout the day with information on all the programs, as well as sign up sheets for anyone interested in joining any group.

The program will also feature two performance groups, "God Squad Puppets," and "Joyful Noise Singer."

There will also be a Praise Worship Service and a Traditional Service. No Sunday School classes will be held so there will be more time for this special program.

The Children's Sunday School will start at 9:30 a.m. for preschool through sixth grade in the multipurpose room, where they will watch the "God Squad Puppets" and then will go downstairs for a story time. This will allow parents time to enjoy the program.

The schedule for the day is: Praise Service, 8:30 to 9:20 a.m.; God Squad Puppets, multipurpose room, 9:30 to 9:50 a.m. and 10:20 to 10:40 a.m.; Joyful Noise singers, sanctuary, 10 to 10:20 a.m. and 10:45 to 11:05 a.m.; and traditional service, 10:45 to 11:45 p.m.

Refreshments will be served in the narthex from 9:20 to 10:45 a.m.

Information tables will be available from 9:20 to 10:45 a.m.
