Herbert Seth Lenhart, 51, of Wescosville, is facing numerous charges as a result of an accident and disturbance at 1:48 a.m. Dec. 24 in the 100 block of Grenge Road in Lower Macungie Township.

State police at the Fogelsville barracks said he was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, public drunkenness and related traffic offenses.Police said he was driving a 1991 Nissan south on the road when the vehicle left the roadway and struck a mailbox and utility pole. After the crash, he dislodged the vehicle from the pole and attempted to continue south on Grange Road before the vehicle lost a significant amount of engine fluid that spilled onto the highway.Police said Lenhart then reversed the vehicle into lot Y-9 of Grange Road, at which time he exited the vehicle and began creating a disturbance. Upon arrival, police found the man to be exhibiting significant signs of intoxication leading to him being taken into custody.
