St. Jerome Roman Catholic Church, West Broad Street, will hold Mass on New Year's Eve, Friday, Dec. 31 at 5 p.m. and on New Year's Day, Saturday, Jan. 1, 2011 at 9 a.m.The Sunday Mass schedule for this weekend will remain the same, with the Vigil Mass at 4 p.m. Saturday afternoon and Masses at 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. on Sunday morning.The parish office will be closed on Friday for the New Year's holiday. It will reopen on Monday, Jan. 3, 2011 at 9 a.m.SS. Peter and PaulSS. Peter and Paul Church, Pine Street, will hold Mass on New Year's Eve, Friday, Dec. 31 at 7 p.m. and on New Year's Day, Saturday, Jan. 1, 2011 at 8 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.The Sunday schedule has Mass at 5 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. and 10:30 p.m. on Sunday.Bethany E.C. ChurchBethany Evangelical Congregational Church, E. Broad Street, will hold Sunday School at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 2, 2011. The worship service will be held at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Kevin Roberts, pastor, officiating. The Lord's Supper will be observed.On Tuesday, Prayer Time will be at 8:30 a.m. and Men's Fraternity will meet at 6:30 p.m.On Wednesday, the Tamaqua Youth Ministry will meet at 6:30 p.m. Adult Bible Study will also meet at 6:30 p.m.St. Peter's, MantzvilleSt. Peter's Church, Manztville, will hold its morning worship service at 9 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 2, 2011, with the Celebration of Holy Communion. The Breakfast fundraiser will follow the service.There will be no Sunday School this week. The Youth Group will meet at 6 p.m.On Thursday, Jan. 6, 2011, the Prayer Group meets at 5 p.m., Confirmation Class at 6 p.m. and Brownies at 6:30 p.m. Choir Rehearsal will be held, with the Cherubs at 6:30 p.m., Junior Choir at 7 p.m. and Senior Choir at 7:45 p.m.On Saturday, Jan. 8 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., the Queens of Crop Scrapbooking group will meet.
