A Summit Hill man was arrested following a discovery of marijuana at his residence.

According to Summit Hill police, on Dec. 22, at approximately 2:30 p.m., officers received a call to assist the Carbon County Sheriff's Department for a male that fled on foot. Sheriff's deputies were at 127 E. Hazard St., Summit Hill, for a warrant of a person at the residence. While looking for the person, they came upon marijuana plants; as well as Greg Hartman, 38, of the aforementioned address. Hartman was not the individual deputies had the warrant for, but Hartman proceeded to flee the scene.Summit Hill police responded to the residence, and while on scene, Hartman returned.A search of the residence produced a large amount of marijuana plants; as well as lighting equipment and other items that are used to take care of the plants.Hartman was taken into custody and charged with manufacture of a controlled substance, four counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled or counterfeit substance, and tampering with or fabricating physical evidence. He was arraigned before District Judge Edward Lewis and placed in Carbon County Correctional Facility in lieu of bail.
