Lansford police are looking for whomever painted a swastika and an anarchy symbol on the back of the St. Ann's School Apartments last weekend.

Officer Chris Ondrus said it was the second time the building has been vandalized. On Dec. 2, five first-floor windows at the rear of the building, facing East Kline Avenue, were smashed. The defacement, which also included a crude drawing of a devil and the words "Jersey devil," were reported on Dec. 20. The vandalism was done on Dec. 18-19, he said.Ondrus said the same type of graffiti - the "Jersey devils" along with expletives - was found this week on the Lehigh Valley Foot and Ankle Surgeons building at 341 E. Bertsch St. "It appears to have been done by the same individuals," he said.Anyone with information about the vandalism is asked to call police at (570)645-5844.
