Back in September Brian Snyder of Palmerton was diagnosed with a rare type of cancer, Philamorphic Lipo Sarcoma, which is a cancer of the soft tissue.

Because of his illness, his sister, RoseAnn Lesher, realizes there is a shortage of blood. She is coordinating a blood drive on Tuesday, Dec. 28, from 2 to 7 p.m. at Country Inn and Suites, 1619 Interchange Rd., Lehighton. Call to schedule an appointment at (610) 379-5066. Walk ins are welcome.
