A Summit Hill man escaped serious injury when his vehicle flipped over on Sunday, Dec. 12, at the east edge of Tamaqua.

Todd Rogers, 19, of Ludlow St., was driving east on SR209 at 9 a.m. when he lost control of the silver Nissan he was operating. The sedan struck a grassy area and flipped over twice before coming to rest on the berm of the road. Rogers was reportedly uninjured despite not wearing his seat belt.The roadways were wet and slick at the time.
