A collision between two vehicles occurred Wednesday, Dec. 8, at 9 p.m. on SR903 in Penn Forest Township, according to state policee at Lehighton.

A 1999 Subaru Legacy, operated by Alejandro P. Portillo, 53, of Jim Thorpe, attempted to make a left turn into the parking lot of the Shell Gas Station. At that time, he turned into the path of a 1997 Jeep Wrangler operated by Michael T. Alderfer, 16, of Sarasota, Fla. causing impact to the left quarterpanel.Ricardo D. Memgear, 30, of Jim Thorpe, was a passenger in Portillo's vehicle and Ridge Fotlz, 16, of Sellersville, and Colby Mills, 15 of Perkasie, were passengers in Alderfer's vehicle. The drivers and occupants of both vehicles were taken to Lehighton Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. All were wearing seat belts. Portillo was cited, troopers said.
