Tamara Stubits, a senior at Northern Lehigh High School has been named as Slatington Women's Club Girl of the Month for November.

She is the Student Council president, secretary of National Honor Society, varsity softball captain. She is a member of SADD, the Class Video Committee and Bigs and Littles.Tamara was named to Colonial League's softball first team (unanimous decision), Softball first team All-Area, Softball first team All-State D2, Softball MVP (09-10), Softball Player of the Week and varsity softball's captain (2010-11.)She enjoys Zumba, snowboarding and being with friends.Her future plans are to attend Misericordia University, majoring in Elementary Education and Special Education while also playing softball.Tamara is the daughter of Matthew and Kelly Stubits and has a sister, Tonya Stubits.
