Toys for Tots

registration slatedThis weekend, Dec. 10-11, will be the final two days for anyone that wishes to register for Toys for Tots. Registration is open to children up to 12 years of age and 14 for those with special needs. Registration is being held at the Salem Bible Fellowship Church, Mahoning Township.The toy give away will also take place at the church on Dec. 18, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. If you have questions, please call Ed, (570) 325-2408.Nativity displayThe parish of St. John's Lutheran Church, South Ave., will be holding its third annual nativity display in the auditorium of the church Dec. 11-12, from noon to 5 p.m. The auditorium is located in the downstairs of the church and there is a stair glide for those needing it.Last year there were 168 different nativities and items on display.If you have any questions you may contact Betty Ann at (570) 325-2175 or Bonnie, (610) 554-3528.
