The next meeting of the Panther Valley Golden Agers will be on Monday, Dec. 13 at 1 p.m. at St. Joseph's Hall in Summit Hill. The club will make its annual donation to the "St Luke's, Committed to Caring Campaign."Reservations are required before Monday, Dec. 13. For more information, contact club president, Dr. Kenneth Vermillion.Bloodmobile setSt. Joseph Catholic Church, Summit Hill, will sponsor a bloodmobile visit for the Miller-Keystone Blood Center on Tuesday, Dec. 14.The event will take place in the church hall from 2-7 p.m. A goal of 35 units has been set.Miller-Keystone is the only blood supplier to our local hospitals Blue Mountain Health System Lehighton and Palmerton, and the St. Luke Hospital and Health Network (Miner's Memorial, Coaldale).Persons interested in donating are asked to contact the church office, (570) 645-2664, to reserve a donor time.Heritage centerThe Summit Hill Heritage Center, 1 W. Hazard St., is requesting new members and volunteers.
