Dauphin County man jailed in gun-pointing incident

A Dauphin County man was committed to the Schuylkill County prison early Tuesday morning, Dec. 6, following a gun-pointing incident.

State police at Schuylkill Haven identified the suspect as Dennis Kinsey, 39, of Lykens. He was arraigned before duty District Judge Carol Pankake, of Tremont, and committed to the prison in lieu of $30,000 straight cash bail. He is charged with aggravated and simple assault, terroristic threats, and recklessly endangering another person.According to troopers about 11:50 p.m. on Monday Kinsey entered a trailer at 522 Greenwood Road, in Porter Township, with a shotgun and pointed the muzzle of the gun at 12 residents inside the trailer.The listed victims are Theodore Reichert, 32, Cory Golden, 29, and Michael Golden, 32, all of Tower City; Jonathan Reichert, 28, and Carrier Hawk, 30, both of Lykens; and seven juveniles of various ages.The incident ended about 12:20 a.m. when Kinsey was taken into custody. No motvie for the incident was released by troopers.
