An armed robbery at a Carbon County business is being probed.

State police at Fern Ridge said the incident occurred at Carrigan's Pharmacy along SR903, at Old Stage Road, in Penn Forest Township.Troopers said a white male entered the pharmacy about 5:50 p.m. on Tuesday and displayed a black semi-automatic handgun and demanded that the three customers in the business and one clerk to get on the ground behind the register.He then ordered another employee in the pharmacy area to fill a small green duffel bag with prescription pain medication. The suspect then fled the building.No one was reported injured in the incident.The suspect was described as being about six-feet, one-inch tall, weighing between 200-220 pounds and was wearing a black coat, pants and ski mask with sun glasses and fingerless gloves.Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call troopers at (570) 646-2271.
