State police at Schuylkill Haven said a Fayette County man is facing bad check charges for an incident in Schuylkill County.

Troopers said Terrence Ross, 65, of Dunbar, was charged following an incident at Scenic View Whitetails, 19 Scenic View Rd., in Pine Grove Township.Troopers said Ross purchased nine live whitetail deer from the business. Over a two day period he took possession of seven of the deer. He issued three checks for partial payment with all three checks being returned for insufficient funds. The checks were issued during the period of Sept. 4-6.Attempts were made for Ross to make good on the checks but he failed. Charges were filed, troopers said.
