No one was injured in a one vehicle crash that occurred about 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 2, along Greenwood Road, near Main St., in Porter Township, Schuylkill County.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said Carol L. Culton, 65, of Tower City, was driving a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado truck northbound when the truck left the road in order to let an oncoming vehicle pass. As Culton continued north she could not maneuver the truck back onto the road. The truck traveled about 100 feet while off the road and struck a curb with the passenger side front end. After impact with the curb the truck then struck a Frontier Communications utility pole with the passenger. After that impact the truck continued north for another 43 feet before striking a mailbox at 423 Greenwood Road.After traveling an additional 15 feet the truck came to rest facing north of the road. Colleen C. Culton, 40, also of Tower City, was a passenger in the vehicle.Troopers cited Culton for driving on roadways laned for traffic.
