A Monroe County man was killed in a two vehicle crash that occurred about 7:37 p.m. on Wednesday along SR115, 300 feet south of Mountain Road, in Ross Township.

State police at Lehighton identified the deceased as Thomas Zaleski, 52, of Saylorsburg.According to troopers Debra J. Lyzenga, 60, of Saylorsburg, was driving a 1996 Lincoln Continental northbound while Zaleski was operating a 2004 Subaru Legacy southbound.As Zaleski approached a downhill left hand curve, Lyzenga left her lane of travel heading north and collided head-on into the Subaru.Zaleski was not wearing a seat belt and struck the windshield with his head. He was pronounced dead at the scene.Troopers did not indicate if Lyzenga or her two passengers, females ages 17 and nine, were injured.The investigation into the crash is continuing, troopers said.
